WEBMay 21, 2009, 07:31:27 PM. Well, I finally broke ground on my 12x16 modern manshed. Just 200 square feet or so to be used for sitting around, drinking cold beers and playing music. Also will have a small electronics bench and some music recording gear. Shed style with tall wall 10' and short wall 8'.

WEBMay 14, 2009 · Building a 12' wide one shouldn't be much of a problem. The best looking gambrel roofs have a 12/7 pitch on the lower section, and a 7/12 pitch on the upper section. A 12' wide one can pretty easily be built as a rigid frame, or it can also be built as a truss type. The rigid frame will give you more room upstairs.

WEBMay 21, 2009 · Looks great! I really like the profile. Your 2/12 pitch looks pretty good. I'm starting a 10x12 shed roof project in the spring but I have to use a 3/12 roof to manage the snow. Short wall 7', high wall 10'. I'm afraid it's going to look a bit silly. We are going to put a pergola on the front/high side for shade.

WEBJul 15, 2009 · the structure will be a 14ft wide X 8ft deep X 8ft tall (sloping up to 12ft tall). the roof will be raise 6in for every 12in. I plan to put a loft in for sleeping so i to save some floor space. Let me also say that i am not much of a carpenter, but i understand the basics so i am looking for some feedback on my plans.

WEBMay 14, 2009 · The plan is for a 12x16 w/gambrel roof for more loft space almost identical to the one below (minus the side shed) with the exception that mine will be 2x6 construction instead of 2x4. The loft will be full length in the original (storage) configuration, but I may leave a section open when I reassemble it in Montana as a home.

WEBOct 17, 2011 · The balusters came in packs of 15 along with with 30 nipples and screws. Screw the nipples to your top and bottom rails at each mark and then unclamp and lay on your deck. Now you just insert your balusters (better with 2 or even better 3 people) into the nipples and the section is ready to attach to your posts.
