WEBJul 15, 2020 · Any good dev in modern times should be able to foresee 48:9 aspect ratios, 8k, and 480 hz monitors becoming commonplace in 15 years, and make their games future-proof. Luckily a lot of games released today would work on these monitors. Death Stranding is, alas, not one of them without hacks.

WEBOct 25, 2020 · I just started playing this game today and so far I'm impressed, both with the quality of this port and the game itself. However, looking at metacritic, there are hundreds of 0 score reviews claiming the game has terrible performance and gameplay. I can't find anything inherently wrong with the game. What's up with that? Did Kojima offend PC gamers in some way? Just curious.

WEBNov 12, 2019 · Somehow not being 100/100 makes it bad? And being a mad baby about the few low scores is churlish. Death Stranding has the issue all major releases reviewed by major outlets suffer from. Most are way too high or most are way too low. All without proper description. You want a good review pay attention to the individual not the outlet.
So why is the game getting review bombed on metacritic today?
WEBDec 17, 2020 · There is one thing every dev/publisher/game must avoid the coming weeks/months: get involved with CP2077 in any way. Death Stranding went straight forward into that giant sh't-tornado with the promo update and came out on the other side as expected, ie review bombed. No one's review-bombing Forza Horizon 4 for the free Cyberpunk missions and cars.
