WEBApr 29, 2019. #3. I've been using the Libre sensors since Dec 2017, probably had over 40 of them. Never had any skin irritation. It does leave a red mark with a circle when I pull them off. Circle will wash off, red mark goes away fairly quickly. You could be allergic to the type of adhesive they use.

The edges do start to fray, so I replace it usually once during a 10 day cycle. I hated the ones with a hole in it - made the sensor stick out more.
