WEBApr 29, 2019. #3. I've been using the Libre sensors since Dec 2017, probably had over 40 of them. Never had any skin irritation. It does leave a red mark with a circle when I pull them off. Circle will wash off, red mark goes away fairly quickly. You could be allergic to the type of adhesive they use.

WEBApr 9, 2018 · I tried the Libre twice and it was consistently high about 90% of the time compared to my Free Style meters. They replaced both the sensors and reader and results were the same. Average readings were 30-40% too high with range of -10% to + 60%. My Dexcom is usually within 10% of finger sticks with my FreeStyle meters.
