Custom Logos - Brand Guidelines
WEBThe university logo is the official mark of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Unit logos and unit shortcuts allow individual colleges, departments, centers, institutes, and administrative offices to identify themselves and their affiliation with the university.
Standards - Brand Guidelines
WEBThough these are two very big parts of our brand, there are other ways to show that you are a part of UT. To make it easy for you, we have established guidelines and standards and created tools that will help you show that your unit is part of the Volunteer family.
University Seal - Brand Guidelines
WEBThe official seal of the University of Tennessee features images of an open book, globe, sextant, gear, and laurels. The words “agriculture” and “commerce,” and images of a plow and riverboat, are elements of the seal of the State of Tennessee.
Colors - Brand Guidelines
WEBTennessee Orange is the most recognizable component of our brand and is key in making us stand out from the crowd. White and Smokey are also primary colors and should be used to accent the boldness of the Tennessee Orange. Use the guidelines below to best reproduce these colors.
Student Organization Logos - Brand Guidelines
WEBRegistered student organizations may either create their own unique logos or request an official logo. Student leaders or faculty advisors may request an official logo from the Office of Communications and Marketing.
Trademark Licensing - Brand Guidelines
WEBThe university’s trademark licensing program protects the use of the university’s names, logos, slogans, insignias, symbols, and mascots. University fiscal policy requires that one of the university-contracted licensed vendors be used to produce any merchandise that bears a university trademark.
Websites - Brand Guidelines
WEBThe left-aligned university logo should appear in the upper left of all webpages and must link to www.utk.edu. This logo may not be altered or modified in any way (e.g., by adding unit identification).
