Very interesting ruins to visit. We had an expert, professor Saed as a guide together with Apollos travelguide. The tour was arranged by Apollo travels as a tour to Tunis and Kartago. Full review by Larserikon

We went with a tour so didn’t have long there, I liked it but I am interested in history. It was good to have a guide as there isn’t a lot of information written around the site. I’d recommend it if … Full review by Leahthetourist

Not entirely sure, probably like most museums 8am-5pm-ish, though I was there at around 7:30am, and I know they have nighttime shows. One needs to purchase a ticket at one of the sites before going further, which gives access to all the many sites. And one can do a walking tour of all the sites, and there are random structures scattered around Carthage that one doesn't need the ticket for,

Hello Kay#R# #R# We stayed in Port el Kantoui and normally would research places to visit independently. However we decided to use a local tour operator and it was well worth doing (roads are not brilliant, public transport links a little sporadic (there is a train but the timetable didn't seem to reflect the times the trains actually ran!)). The advantage to sightseeing in this way was that we did get to see several important sights with the added advantage of an expert guide - the trip also took in a visit to Sidi Bou Said which is very picturesque and a brief visit to the capital thrown in. A long day but a great experience without any pressure. Enjoy
