Unexpected delight on a walk from Holyhead. Interesting info in the old quarry, with a good cafe, lake and plenty of outdoor space for all. Well worth a visit. Full review by Gareth W

Good place to start a coastal walk. There’s a cafe and outdoor gallery. Interesting industrial remains of railways, brickworks and quarrying. Full review by railway_chap

Hi there, my husband's great uncle, part of the crew of WWII's "Jig's Up," is memorialized here, and we are making a trip from NYC to Wales (via London) to see the B24 memorial in Holyhead Breakwater Country Park. We are taking the train from London to Holyhead but are unsure what to do when we get off the train. Does anyone know how to find the memorial within the park? I am not expecting the info centre to be open given that it will be the week between New Year's and Xmas. Thank you!

There isnt any public transport to the park but if you get off the bus at Holyhead then walk to Newry Beach about 20 mins walk along the sea front tothe far end and you will come to the country park. Its a lovely walk but quite a long way from town. You really need a car.
