Visting Hoover Dam is well worth the time. You could walk across the top of the dam and take pictures along the way. There is a gift shop and clean restrooms. Water is sold for $1.50 a bottle whic… Full review by Robin M

What we saw was that most people dont actually take the tour so a big queue was not really an issue to get tickets.

Depending on whether you're going to the south rim or west rim it's about an hour away. I definitely suggest doing the west rim over the South rim

No, but I’m guessing when Covid-19 or whatever threat they are feeling it needs to be closed for protection is over.
