We visited this castle on our first full day in Sweden. It was very windy, which kind of added to the dramatic atmosphere. It is a spacious and interesting castle to explore. Full review by tab_wl

I can't remember whether it was there when we visited last year, or not, but there was a guest exhibit, and I don't recall an additional fee for it. If you're unable to find out from one of us, and if you haven't already checked the Castle's website, there is an email address to the info desk listed at the "contact us" button. I found most places like this were very responsive to emails when planning our trip. Our visit to Kalmar Castle was one of our favorite excursions. Enjoy!

No I didn't see any place at the castle to put luggage. Also do remember any place at the station big enough to store luggage
