I suggest Kep. It is well signed and has good trails for hiking or cycling, with lots of birds, butterflies, some monkeys, etc. Bokor was not so well signed. We found a footpath at the end of the tarmac road, past the waterfall. It was marked with buddhist flags and seemed good to start but gradually got narrower and less clear, so we turned back. Maybe there are other trails that are better signed though. But nobody could provide a map and the park suffers from development so wildlife is much further in. I think Kep is better geared up for tourism. I would be worried about getting lost in Bokor. It is still worth going up the hill for the views and the hill station buildings, but I think Kep is definitely better for exploring the park.

We only made one trip into the park but did not see all that it had to offer. The views over the coastal plains & out to the ocean are spectacular & the track is well marked and an easy walk. If you decide to take one of the traverse tracks (as we did), be prepared for a steep, sometimes tricky, climb off the beaten track. It was a bit adventurous, but well marked. We met some very experienced bird watchers at an excellent viewing platform who were impressed with the birds they had discovered too. We were there in the dry season, so any semblance of waterfall did not exist, but it may be quite different for you. It all depends what you like to do, but I you could circumnavigate in a day & go back the next day again just fun. Either way, enjoy....
Q:
Is it possible to get to the Samathi Pagoda from the Park? THANKS.

No. It's just a vista point in the distance.

We did not visit the Butterfly farm when we were in Kep National Park, but looking over the map that our hotel (Verandah Natural Resort), gave us before we went off to explore the park I can see a reference to the Butterfly farm. So I would have to say that it would be accessible, but the park is big so I would ask a local which would be the quickest route when you are there. Have a great trip, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself.
Q:
Is there any restroom in the Park? THANKS.
A:
Led Zep cafe has a proper toilet, otherwise plenty of secluded trees/bushes to hide behind!
