I think I recall seeing several picnic tables in this park. If I am remembering correctly, the bridge is positioned over a creek/stream where swimming/wading was permitted at your own risk. There was shade and I think an outhouse. It is a pretty area. Mosquitoes may be bad though.

Yes, that would definitely be a possibility. It is a state park, so contact the Missouri Department of Conservation regarding arranging this type of event. It sounds wonderful.
