No, in fact the free lots had time limits to dissuade long term parking

Should be, but you could call them to confirm. ( (507) 437-5100) Monday-Saturday: 10:00am-5:00pm April – September Closed: New Year's Day, Easter Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

The museum is handicap accessible. The entire museum is on one floor, so an elevator is not needed to reach all the exhibits and the gift shop. If I remember correctly, there are a couple of benches in case you need a place to rest briefly.
