Even following our satnav it too a detailed search to find the access to thie Fortifications. There is one scruffy signboard by an overgrown gate that is only readable if travelling on one direction.… Full review by PeterReigate

Can access part of the ramparts directly from the road (limited parking). Be careful if you have small children as a bit of a scramble in places (particularly if after blackberries) Full review by JRMaddog
