Excellent visit. Had forgotten to book house tour but was able to add it on arrival, thanks. Grounds were lovely. House tour very informative and enjoyable. Full review by karensK8585UJ

Fabulous guides tour of the castle, lots of history to soak up. Very clean amenities, friendly and helpful staff, gardens were pristine. Wonderful day out with family Full review by Cheryl C

There are stairs but the tour is at a steady pace. Walker can be used to see the grounds. You will love it.

Good Morning,Just booked a five day trip to Scotland,first visit and very excited.Can you tell me if we can do Glamis in half a day as we have a pretty full itinerary.Also I presume there will be a restaurant there,we are looking for soup and a sandwich something along those lines as we are in a Hotel with half board.Is it licensed ? Yes, you can do Glamis in four hours, assuming you don't walk the grounds at length. The restaurant is actually very good. They had excellent scones when we were there. The gift shop is located in an adjacent building and is well stocked with things Scottish. While in Dundee, you may want to stop in at the castle where Mary, Queen of Scots, was kept. There is an amazing "Real Tennis" court on site. Of course, you are planning to visit the V & A Museum of Design located on the Dundee Waterfront.
