Cantil is an unincorporated community in Kern County, California. It is in the Fremont Valley of the western Mojave Desert. It is located on California State Route 14, between Mojave and Red Rock Canyon. It is at an elevation of 2,018 feet, 6 miles southwest of Saltdale.
