We drove up and was all that I had hoped it would be. We could see the duck pond, the green gabled barn and house. Even in the rain, it was delightful. Full review by converge77

I agree with those who said 1-2 hours really depends how big a fan you are. Gives you ample time to visit all the building, see Anne and do the walks.

I do not know about the Jan weather. Go to accuweather and look for the monthly historical information for the last few years to get an idea. Re Green Gables, First, we did not see the film, so it might have explained everything. The problem when touring the house, was that there were no explanatory cards or anything to tell one what they are viewing. You might call the welcome center and see if they have improved the situation. Otherwise, would not spend the time.

A:
It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.
