Travel in WA is very busy at the moment. We cant travel interstste as our border is still closed so everyone is travelling around WA. It's very hard to get in anywhere st the moment. Its also remote and popular. So my strongest advice is to book.

Definitely summer months but early in the morning as it can get windy and blistering hot. I would definitely take a sun shade of some description and lots of sun act. White sand and sun are a perfect combination for severe sunburn.. trust me I found out the hard way... Would also be a great place to visit in the milder months but on a sunny but no wind day.
