Definitely summer months but early in the morning as it can get windy and blistering hot. I would definitely take a sun shade of some description and lots of sun act. White sand and sun are a perfect combination for severe sunburn.. trust me I found out the hard way... Would also be a great place to visit in the milder months but on a sunny but no wind day.
Q:
Just wondering if you can 4WD along the coast from Lucky Bay to Wharton Beach?
A:
Nope. At the end of lucky bay it stops. Get back on the road and try a few km later
Q:
Are there local taxis or transportation available for hire to visit the NP when our cruise docks?
A:
Taking a taxi or Uber would be very expensive. You're better off renting a car or doing a set tour.
