The partnership will prioritise green energy generation, focusing on solar and hydropower initiatives while also exploring innovative green technologies.

Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group on Wednesday (October 2) through an exchange filing announced that the company has entered into a partnership with Druk Holding and Investments Ltd. (DHI), the commercial and investment arm of Bhutan's Royal Government.

Reliance Group is entering Bhutan's renewable energy sector by partnering with Druk Holding to set up 1,270 MW solar and hydroelectric projects. This initiative includes a 500 MW solar plant and a 770 MW hydro project.
