India’s explosive batter Rishabh Pant finally spoke about his separation from the IPL franchise Delhi Capitals ahead of the mega auction. Pant reacted to a post of Sunil Gavaskar where he was trying to dissect the reason for the latter’s separation.

Pant, who is listed at a base price of Rs 2 crore and is one of the 12 marquee players for the upcoming auction, was not retained by DC. The team instead retained Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Tristan Stubbs and Abhishek Porel.

Rishabh Pant was not retained by Delhi Capitals even though he had captained the franchise in three out of the last four seasons since IPL 2021 and was seen as one of their main batters.
