People and TMZ report that Amos' death certificate states that he died on Aug. 21 at 5:18 p.m. and there were no other significant medical conditions that contributed to his death

Actor John Amos died in August, but his daughter has revealed she only learned about it when his passing was reported by the media on October 1.

The actor died at the age of 84 in August 2024, but his family didn’t confirm his death until two months later.
