Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said on Monday that he still has no regrets about not trying to get closer to the end zone before calling on Cairo Santos to try a game-winning field goal, but he does think that officials might have missed a penalty on the Packers before the kick was blocked.

In the aftermath of the loss, Bears coach Matt Eberflus defended his decision to kick the 46-yard attempt rather than run an additional play. But come Monday, Eberflus turned his attention to another aspect of that blocked field goal: He thinks the refs missed a penalty.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Eberflus and the Bears will turn in the game-losing play to the league office because Green Bay's defenders "were on our long snapper". According to league rules, the center must remain uncovered on a field goal attempt, and a defensive player cannot jump on an opponent in an effort to block a kick.
