Miami has been red hot to start the 2024 college football season, streaking to a 4-0 record for the second straight season and looking to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2017 as the Hurricanes aim to remind everyone they're gunning for the upper echelon of the sport once again.

Trendy preseason ACC sleeper Virginia Tech (2-2) stumbled out of the blocks in a Week 1 upset loss to Diego Pavia-led Vanderbilt before taking out a pair of humdrum Sun Belt programs. They were favorites at home against a rugged Rutgers team and proceeded to lose 23-26 with a 14% postgame win expectancy.

The Miami Hurricanes and Virginia Tech college football game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 28. ESPN broadcasters for the game are scheduled to be Anish Shroff (play-by-play), Andrew Ware (analyst), and Paul Carcaterra (sideline reporter).
