Plans for the program include offering connectors for both Combined and American charging standards, offering options for most electric vehicles to charge at select Kwik Trips. According to the release, the chargers will offer at least 150kW of power per dispenser when four vehicles are plugged in, or up to 400kW of power for a single vehicle.

The state of Kansas continues to beef up the electric vehicle charging infrastructure by continuing to add more charging stations. Governor Laura Kelly announced another $6.8 million investment to add nine additional fast-charging stations throughout the state.

Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday announced that more than $6.8 million in federal funds will be directed to nine new locations selected for the state’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula program.
