It’s been more than a week since Hannah Kobayashi missed a flight connection in Los Angeles. After a series of suspicious texts from her phone, the 30-year-old Hawaii woman has gone silent – and her family is desperately trying to find her.

The family of Hannah Kobayashi is searching for her in Los Angeles after she missed a connecting flight, sent unusual text messages and then went silent, the relatives said.

The 31-year-old sent out-of-character messages to her friends and family about an "intense spiritual awakening" she experienced.
