Brookfield Zoo Chicago is welcoming its newest residents, and while guests may not be able to see a few of them, there is one that is already getting used to its new home. The zoo announced Friday that it has welcomed a juvenile California Two Spot-Octopus,

A California Two Spot Octopus and four hatchlings are joining the more than 3,400 animals and 500 species featured at the zoo.

Brookfield Zoo Chicago has welcomed a new eight-limbed animal, a California Two Spot Octopus. The small octopus, known as a “bimac,” is the latest animal to join the zoo’s family. The Pacific Coast native will be featured at Brookfield’s Living Coast exhibit, where it will be swimming among starfish.
