District Court Judge Ronald Johnson ruled against the school and in favor of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, which ruled last month that two of the Cubs’ players that transferred from Liberty Magnet High were ineligible and ordered U-High to forfeit seven of its wins.

The LHSAA will move forward with the release of the football playoff brackets as originally planned Sunday. The organization on Friday had announced a delay in the bracket announcement after University High of Baton Rouge sued the LHSAA over the forfeiture of seven wins due to a player-eligibility ruling.
