With the launch of the new Mac Mini in late October 2024, Apple did something uncharacteristic of itself. The latest Mac Mini was unveiled with their fourth generation Apple Silicon, the M4 chipset, starting at only $599 for the base variant.

To be fair, both of those other computers have significantly more memory bandwidth than the Mac Mini, and both have better GPU performance.
