Shuttle buses are replacing trolleys along parts of three branches of the MBTA's Green Line on Monday morning.

Shuttle buses are replacing service on the B, C and D branches of the MBTA’s Green Line on Monday morning due to a power issue at Kenmore. The T announced the issue at 5:17 a.m. on X. They said shuttle buses are in effect from Blandford Street to Copley on the B Branch,

Starting at 5:12 a.m. Sunday, riders may begin using the new Trolley line, serving four stations between El Cajon Transit Center and Santee Trolley Station.

The San Diego Trolley’s long-awaited, but somewhat controversial Copper Line will begin service at 5:12 a.m. Sunday, and Metropolitan Transit System members and East County elected officials celebrated its impending arrival with a ribbon-cutting Friday.

Starting this weekend, residents in East County will enjoy faster travel with the launch of the new Copper Line trolley service.
