Floods warned due to heavy rain in western Sri Lanka
COLOMBO, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lanka's Irrigation Department warned of floods on Friday in some divisions of the Western Province due to heavy rain. The department said in a statement that considerable rainfall had occurred in most of the catchment area of the basin of the Attanagalu Oya river.
