WEBMay 17, 2007 · SNES games using VWF like FF6 and Chrono Trigger were adapted to VWF only in their American verison, the originals used fixed 12x16 font. So only american or european RPG developpers would have seriously used this, and few existed (only the Ultima games and Pirates! comes in my mind for this category).

WEBOct 2, 2004 · Generic aka "the family picross font", but with Japanese and accented characters. Also includes various menu tiles. A Mother 2/Earthbound-ish 1bpp font, meant for VWF usage. (I haven't figured this out myself; need to check tepples' demo in more detail when I have the time.)

WEBJul 1, 2012 · What's the first thing that confuses you about the VWF engine in the Action 53 menu? I'm willing to document everything more thoroughly. Agreed about digit width, which is why the font shipped with my own VWF engine leaves an extra pixel of space on the sides of the glyph for '1'.
