At this point, less of a value prop I agree for Vero, but its founder Sam obviously thinks differently, and CoreELEC team has responded. As a end-user, my Ugoos AM6B+ w/CE does 3D as well as Vero V, plus has better performance, and supports full DL FEL Dolby Vision.

WEBOct 16, 2023 · Significantly snappier performance, HDR10+, and added benefit of Alexa equipment control. Plus, Cube 3, like Shield, also supports Dolby Vision and full HD audio passthrough. And is cheaper than Shield, whose hardware is starting to feel outdated. Vero 4K/4K+ and V are also good, but strictly for local media playback.
