Dec 27, 2018 · Thanks for the responses. I used to be able to buy large, firm, crisp, sweet and juicy Golden Delicious apples. The ones from the FFA are small and tart. There are still plenty of Red Delicious apples in the places I shop, but they have never been a favorite of mine. Weezycom, I had suspected that. I will look for Smitten apples.

The Miami Subs building, which was a Chinese restaurant before (and maybe something else before that) is now a new Starbucks. Of course, the Publix is now a Publix Sabor and all of their old tile work and original facade is gone. Westchester mall... now a Walmart (yuck).
