The gas is good, too. If you want something but are willing to spend a couple thousand more a Mazda 3 Turbo has like 250~ hp and AWD.

The Mazda 3 feels really premium and the clutch has better feel than the Corolla and the Civic, though all 3 are very light. It's just the most communicative. But it's also more cramped than the Civic, and you have to get the premium trim to get a stick.
