Sep 24, 2020 · Here's a Glock 19c Gen4 and 22c Gen3. Of all the C models I'd have to say the 19c has the least impact from the ports. 9mm is pretty mild anyways and the short slide length reduces the leverage the ports have on the gun. Unfortunately I haven't shot the 22c enough to say much - only because I haven't owned .40 rounds in a long time.

Seems like the 1st generation Glock 19 is quite rare with about 12 - 20 being made. I read that one sold for $750 back in 2006. One can think it would be about double that today if you can find one.

A compensated pistol is appropriate for competition use, but there are significant drawbacks to using one for self defense.

But, the easiest way to reduce the trigger pull weight on a Glock is with a connector swap. Caution is needed though, as there are critical differences between different Glock models and connectors are not universal.
