WEBJun 22, 2022 · Waterproof boots....aren't waterproof. At best, they keep out a bit of moisture. Heavy leather boots WILL get wet and soak through. Then they'll be a pain in the ass to get dry once you're in the backcountry. You're much better off finding tough, breathable boots and carrying a couple/few pairs of merino socks.

WEBMay 11, 2024 · The Oboz are pretty stiff and won't be friendly on pavement though. They offer better support with a stiffer boot if you are going to be carrying a pack and plates. Kel-Tec P3AT - Tiny and lightweight, you wont even know its there until you need it. 7 rounds, but "only" a 380. Not as reliable as a revolver. Kahr CW9 - Larger, but still easily concealed. 8 rounds of 9mm.
